We would like to inform you on the processing of your personal data when registering for and using our SpaceHub Conference or participating in a virtual conference organised with SpaceHub Conference. This Privacy Policy also applies to the SpaceHub Conference’s website at https://spacehub.world.

We provide you with a registration and access to the SpaceHub Conference so that you can preview and evaluate virtual conferences organised by SpaceHub Conference.
When registering with us, we process your name (or nickname, if you prefer) and your email address in order to create an account for you (Art. 6(1)(b) of the GDPR). When you use your Google account for registration, we receive your email address, first and last name and profile picture from Google Inc. (also based on Art. 6(1)(b) of the GDPR). The described personal data is necessary to create a SpaceHub Account.
We will match the information from the SpaceHub Account with information on possible contracts you or the company you are working for may have with us in order to provide you with additional SpaceHub Conference features (based on Art. 6(1)(b) of the GDPR).
When participating in a virtual conference organised with SpaceHub Conference, we process your IP address (or your MAC address with the mobile version) in order to provide you access to that virtual conference for testing purposes (Art. 6(1)(b) of the GDPR).
Without processing the described data, we cannot technically provide you access to a virtual conference organised with SpaceHub Conference.
When registered, you may voluntarily provide further information about you (profile data, your company’s name, links to Social Media profiles).
When certain technical errors occur while participating in a virtual conference, we also use the information to develop our product and to evaluate the source of the technical error. This is our legitimate interest to process your personal data (Art. 6(1)(f) of the GDPR).
We process all information (including content) you provide when participating in a virtual conference organised by SpaceHub Conference only within and for the virtual conference in order to enable you to share this information as part of our service (Art. 6(1)(b) of the GDPR). We do not store any of that information.
We only share your personal data with hosting service providers, with which we have concluded data processing agreements. Whenever these processors are located outside the EU, we ensure that there are appropriate or suitable safeguards in place according to Art. 44 et seq. of the GDPR. When you want to get a copy of the relevant safeguards, please request one at the contact details above.
Please note that other users within the same virtual conference organised with SpaceHub Conference can perceive any information you share within the conference (including any voluntarily provided information from your profile and your name in your SpaceHub Account).
We will only store any information as long as necessary. This means that we will delete any personal data necessary for providing you with access to a virtual conference organised with SpaceHub Conference after you log off (or leave the conference as a guest). However, we store your personal data longer in case a technical error occurs, but only as long as necessary to evaluate the source of the error.
You have the right to request from us access to and rectification or erasure of your personal data or restriction of processing concerning you or to object to processing as well as the right to data portability.
Where the processing is based on consent (Art. 6(1)(a) of the GDPR), you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
You have the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, at any time to processing of your personal data, which is based on Art. 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, including profiling. We will no longer process your personal data unless we demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing, which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. Where personal data are processed for direct marketing purposes, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data concerning for such marketing, which includes profiling to the extent that it is related to such direct marketing.
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
